Share Your Voice with Our Community
We invite authors, poets, and storytellers to apply for thoughtfully curated events that celebrate words, ideas, and connection in a beautiful farm setting.
The Storytellers & Literary Voices We’re Seeking
Tales, Tails, & Ales features short, engaging readings woven throughout the day in a relaxed orchard setting. We welcome a wide range of voices and storytelling styles, especially those that feel lively, heartfelt, and well-suited to a shared outdoor experience.
Local Author Spotlights
Authors of fiction, nonfiction, memoir, essays, or poetry who enjoy sharing brief excerpts of their work. Readings may be humorous, reflective, seasonal, or inspired by place, community, or everyday life.
Dog Stories & Animal Tales
True stories, essays, or narrative pieces centered on dogs and the human–animal bond. We especially welcome stories from authors, rescue volunteers, trainers, or community members with meaningful, funny, or touching canine tales to share.
Community Storytellers
Writers, speakers, or creative locals who may not identify as traditional “authors” but have a compelling story to tell. This might include personal essays, oral storytelling, or short reflective pieces rooted in lived experience.
Brewing, Orchard & Craft Tales
Short anecdotes or narrative moments connected to brewing, farming, craftsmanship, or life behind the scenes. These stories help ground the event in the people and passions that make it possible.
Poetry & Playful Verse
Poetry of all styles is welcome, from thoughtful and lyrical to lighthearted, humorous, or whimsical. Haikus, limericks, and short-form verse that embrace the playful spirit of the event are especially encouraged.
Seasonal & Place-Based Stories
Stories inspired by New England, late summer, farm life, community gatherings, or moments of connection, the kinds of pieces that feel at home beneath apple trees with a glass in hand.
Call for Authors & Storytellers
Tales, Tails, & Ales is our primary literary-focused event, where we feature live readings from authors, poets, and storytellers as part of the day’s programming.
This form is specific to the Tales, Tails, & Ales event where you can submit for a reading as well as purchase a booth to sell your books and writings. We also welcome amateur writers or local personalities with a great story to tell.
If you are interested in purchasing a booth for any of our other markets in 2026, please complete our Vendor Application.
